Three separate finance functions are being brought together into one more joined-up UK team, creating a genuine opportunity to improve how Finance operates and the value it provides to the wider business. Reporting directly to a highly supportive Finance Director, you''ll take ownership of the core accounting function across a multi-entity environment, lead and develop a small team and play an important role in bringing together different systems, processes and ways of working. The fundamentals matter, but this role goes well beyond producing a good set of numbers. They want someone commercially minded who is naturally curious about what sits behind the numbers. Someone who can understand why performance has moved, identify what matters and turn financial information into meaningful insight that helps the business make better decisions. There is plenty to get involved in. Systems, reporting, controls, automation and processes are all on the agenda, alongside broader commercial projects and business cases.
