Finance Manager - Venture Capital

JSS are pleased to be partnered with a Venture Capital company that are investing in the most innovative minds - think cutting-edge AI and deep technology start-ups. We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the business as a key finance contact, working with every single team and the portfolio.Key Responsibilities

Lead financial operations for both the investment firm and its associated funds.Develop and refine financial strategies and operational frameworks.Manage all aspects of fund accounting in coordination with third-party administrators and advisors.Handle investor transactions, including capital calls, distributions, and net asset value reporting.Deliver timely and accurate financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis.Oversee tax compliance and filings, including international requirements.File necessary corporate documentation and maintain statutory compliance.Support investor onboarding procedures, including due diligence and compliance checks.Manage the audit process and maintain relationships with auditors and key external partners.Respond to investor data requests and contribute to fund reporting.Assist with performance tracking and valuation processes for portfolio companies.Stay informed on relevant regulatory developments impacting venture capital operations.Create and manage firm-level financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow reports.Continually improve internal financial systems and processes.Candidate Requirements

ACA qualified with 1-4 years PQEMinimum of three years’ experience in a finance-focused role within the VC or PE space.Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.Deep understanding of fund structures, financial reporting standards, and regulatory guidelines.Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage diverse workflows.Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.Seniority level
