Finance Manager

A sector leading manufacturing group has a new vacancy for a Finance Manager to join one of its major UK operations. Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, you will be responsible for preparing detailed forecasts, budgets and analyses as well as supporting monthly management accounts. Candidates are sought with a strong background in financial accounting gained within a fast-paced complex environment (manufacturing, logistics, distribution, etc). The Role Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting for the company. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Supervise and mentor the finance team. Conduct financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Monitor cost controls measures to enhance profitability. Prepare and present monthly and year end accounts. Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to drive business performance. Manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to optimize financial processes and efficiency. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis as needed. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Lead continuous improvements of financial systems and processes. The Person Qualified to ACA/ACCA/CIMA or extensive equivalent experience in financial management.
