Finance Manager

To manage the finance function, ensure the accurate and timely production of financial information, maintain effective financial controls, and provide commercial insight to support business performance and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day activities of the finance department. Produce monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow reporting. Lead month-end and year-end processes. Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial projections. Monitor cashflow, working capital and overall financial performance. Analyse financial results and provide recommendations to support business objectives. Oversee reconciliations, VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements. Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and financial governance. Support senior management with financial planning, reporting and decision-making. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies. Skills and Experience Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience accountant. Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience. Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge. Previous experience managing or supervising a finance team desirable. Commercially aware with the ability to communicate financial information effectively. ..... full job details .....
