Finance Manager/ Bookkeeper (Standalone Role)Location: CardiffJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentAre you an experienced Bookkeeper / standalone finance manager? This role will see you being at the helm of the accounts of an established SME.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and providing valuable financial insight to support decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Managing all aspects of the company''s finance functionMaintaining accurate financial records and ledgersPreparing monthly management accounts and financial reportsManaging accounts payable and accounts receivablePerforming bank reconciliations and cash flow managementPreparing and submitting VAT returnsProcessing payroll and maintaining payroll recordsManaging month-end and year-end proceduresLiaising with external accountants, auditors, and HMRCMonitoring budgets and providing financial analysisEnsuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controlsSupporting business planning and forecasting activitiesRequirements:Proven experience in a standalone finance or finance management roleStrong bookkeeping and accounting knowledgeExperience producing management accountsProficiency with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooksExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple ..... full job details .....
