Finance Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation based in Middlesbrough for a hands-on Finance Manager to take responsibility for day-to-day finance operations and support wider group reporting.This is a varied role suited to an experienced finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams in a fast-paced environment.Key responsibilities include:Managing day-to-day accounting activityBank reconciliations and cash managementMonth-end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assetsPayroll oversight, including employee and subcontractor paymentsVAT and compliance reporting (including CIS where applicableBudgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reportingSales and purchase ledger management, including aged debt controlBalance sheet reconciliationsIntercompany transactions and group reporting supportFinancial reporting, variance analysis, and KPI reportingSupporting senior management with financial insightAbout you:Experience in a similar finance role (Finance Manager/Controller level or equivalent)Strong technical accounting knowledgeConfident with payroll, VAT, and compliance processesStrong Excel and systems skillsIdeally fully qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACAWhat''s on offer:Salary up to £40,000 to £50,000 DOESupportive and collaborative working environmentCompany pensionHealth and wellbeing supportLife insuranceOn-site parkingCompany events and positive team ..... full job details .....
