Finance Manager - Interim Rate: £400 - £500 per dayLocation: Southwest - hybrid working - minimum 3 days per week on siteContract: 6 months +Sellick Partnership is pleased to be supporting a Local Government organisation based in the Southwest, who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager for an initial 6 month contract. This is a hybrid role - you will be required to work on site at least 3 days per week. Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include: Provide strategic financial leadership and expert advice to support robust decision-making and long-term financial sustainabilityLead finance business partnering across designated directorates, ensuring high-quality financial planning, monitoring, forecasting and performance managementSupport the development and delivery of the Council''s Medium-Term Financial StrategyLead financial input to major transformation programmes, service redesign, capital investment and strategic initiativesProvide oversight and assurance for capital programmes, external funding, grants and investment activityBuild and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners, representing the Finance Service in key committees, boards and partnership forumsRequired experience/qualifications for the Finance Manager position:Professional Accountancy qualification Recent Local Government experienceAbility to work on site in the Southwest at least 3 days per week How to apply for the Finance Manager position: If you believe ..... full job details .....
