Finance Manager

The RoleAs Finance Manager, reporting into Head of Finance/CFO, you will be responsible for the integrity of the not-for-profit organisation''s financial reporting and control environment, while supporting the continued development of the finance function.Key responsibilities will include:Leading, mentoring and developing a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Owning and managing the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Preparing and reviewing consolidated financial results across the organisation.Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, charity regulations and reporting requirements.Taking responsibility for the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting the external audit process.Providing technical accounting guidance across the organisation, including the application of NFP SORP requirements and fund reporting.Reviewing and strengthening financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks.Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.Working closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.Driving process improvements and helping to enhance the effectiveness of the finance function.The CandidateWe are seeking a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in financial reporting and team leadership.The successful candidate will possess:A ..... full job details .....
