Finance Manager Permanent Full-Time AyrshireI''m working with a long-established, owner-led manufacturing and joinery business to recruit a hands-on Finance Manager who will take full ownership of the finance function across three entities.This is a key, standalone role where you''ll work closely with the owner, playing a vital part in supporting day-to-day operations while ensuring the smooth running of all finance activity across the group.The OpportunityThis is a broad, end-to-end role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy and responsibility. You''ll be the go-to person for finance, managing everything from transactional activity through to year-end.Key responsibilities include:Preparation of year-end accounts across three businessesFull ownership of purchase and sales ledger (Sage 50)Managing intercompany transactionsProducing trial balance and management-level accountsLiaising with Lloyds Finance and factoring providersRunning payroll, including HMRC and NIC submissionsManaging pensions administrationPreparing and submitting quarterly VAT returnsOverseeing monthly invoicing and VAT processesHandling holiday pay calculationsSupporting with wider operational and administrative tasksWhat We''re Looking ForStrong all-round accounting experience, ideally within an SME or owner-managed businessConfident user of Sage 50Comfortable operating in a standalone role with full ownershipOrganised, reliable, and proactive - someone who naturally takes the leadSalary and ..... full job details .....
