Finance Manager

RM Recruit are working with a fantastic organisation based in Coventry who are looking to appoint an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to join their established finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant looking for the next step in their career, or an existing Finance Manager looking to take greater ownership of a finance function. The role offers excellent exposure across the wider finance function, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, business partnering, systems and financial operations. You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience, take on additional responsibility and develop your management skills within a supportive and collaborative environment. Reporting to the CFO, you will take responsibility for the smooth running of the finance function and will line manage a Finance Officer. This is a hands-on role, so you will be equally comfortable working through the detail of the day-to-day finance function as you are providing financial insight to senior stakeholders. Main duties include: Oversee the day-to-day finance function, ensuring transactions, reconciliations and reporting are completed accurately and on time. Take ownership of monthly management accounts and month-end processes. Prepare financial reports and provide clear financial information to senior stakeholders.
