Finance ManagerCambridge (hybrid - 1 day per week from home)£60,000-£68,000 per annumWe are currently working with a leading Cambridge based not for profit organisation, seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join their Finance Office. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality financial management and reporting across the organisation, its trading subsidiaries, and trusts. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the organisation operates with strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective decision-making capability. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management and ReportingSupport the preparation of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAPDeliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysisLead on audit processes and liaise with external auditorsEnsure effective financial controls and compliance with regulations Team LeadershipManage and develop a small finance teamOversee day-to-day finance operations and month-end processesEnsure deadlines are met and high standards of work are maintainedPromote financial awareness and best practice across the organisation clare.cam.ac.uk Investment and Trust AccountingMonitor investment performance and prepare valuation reportsOversee trust fund accounting, drawdowns, and distributionsEnsure funds are used appropriately in line with the organisation statutes Wider ResponsibilitiesSupport treasury, payroll, tax, and endowment managementProvide technical accounting guidance ..... full job details .....
