Finance Manager

A growing SME is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its senior team. Operating within a broad commercial and service-led environment, this role offers high visibility across the business and the opportunity to play a key part in financial oversight, reporting and commercial decision-making. This is a hands-on, office-based role, suited to someone who wants to be close to the operation and actively involved in day-to-day activity.The role Reporting into senior leadership, the Finance Manager will lead the finance function, delivering monthly management accounts, financial insight and strong financial controls. You will support budgeting and forecasting, provide analysis to operational stakeholders, and manage a small finance team within a busy SME environment.Key responsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysisProducing performance and profitability reportingSupporting budgets, forecasts and financial planningActing as a finance partner to managers and senior stakeholdersManaging the day-to-day finance function and leading a small teamOverseeing month-end and year-end close, liaising with external accountantsEnsuring compliance, VAT reporting and robust financial controlsAbout youQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experienceStrong SME finance background with hands-on management accounts experienceComfortable in a broad, commercial, service-led or project-based environmentPrevious experience managing or ..... full job details .....
