Finance and Commercial Manager - (Hybrid) £50,000 – £60,000 DOE + up to 20% bonus (company + personal performance) A fast-growing, values-driven social impact consultancy, working at the heart of public services, is seeking a Finance and Commercial Manager to lead financial operations and drive strategic decision-making. The Role Reporting to the CEO, you''ll own financial management, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across the business. You''ll also play a crucial role in commercial processes, supporting client projects, supplier management, and strategic planning. This is a hands-on, autonomous role requiring operational excellence and proactive problem-solving. Key Responsibilities - Manage finance operations, including transactional processes (Xero), cash flow forecasting, and reporting - Lead client contracting and commercial processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency Oversee supplier and associate relationships, managing contracts and financial arrangements - Support leadership decisions on pricing, delivery models, and procurement strategy Collaborate with external accountants to ensure payroll, VAT, and tax compliance About You - ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, or equivalent - Proven experience in end-to-end finance management (ideally in SMEs, consultancies, or service providers) - Strong expertise in Xero or similar financial systems - Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail - Comfortable working autonomously, balancing multiple responsibilities - Experience in education, training providers, or consultancy is advantageous What’s on Offer? - Hybrid working (Central London office, WFH Fridays) - 25–30 days’ holiday, increasing with tenure - Private medical and dental cover - 4% employer pension contributions
