Finance Manager - Part Time

A privately owned SME in Lincoln is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function. This is a newly created role within a £2m turnover business with clear growth ambitions, offering the chance to make a real impact and shape how finance supports the next phase of development.Working three or four days per week, you''ll be the go-to person for all financial operations - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being close to the detail.The roleYou''ll be responsible for managing the full finance cycle, including:Processing sales and purchase invoicesAllocating receipts and paymentsPosting journals and maintaining accurate ledgersBank reconciliationsPreparing monthly management accountsChasing outstanding debtCompleting VAT returnsManaging the relationship with the bankSupporting additional tasks such as overseeing outsourced payrollOverseeing 2 direct reports About youThis role suits someone who thrives in a hands-on SME environment and enjoys taking ownership.
