Finance Manager

We are recruiting for a newly created Finance Manager role with an established and growing company based in Ashford. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be a technically strong finance professional with proven people management experience and a passion for developing and motivating high-performing teams. You will have a solid track record of managing month-end and statutory reporting processes across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee statutory reporting, VAT returns and the annual audit.
• Review financial performance, investigating variances and identifying improvements.
• Lead, develop and motivate the finance team.
• Support the Finance Director with business projects, including the implementation of a new accounting system in 2027.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, controls and systems.

About You

• Ideally Qualified (ACCA or equivalent) with strong accounts experience supporting multiple entity requirements.
• Proficient with VAT returns, cashflow management and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage a varied finance team at different levels.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Technically minded with exemplary people management skills.
• Experience using Sage 50.
