Finance Manager

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 FTE, pro rata (0.6 FTE: £30,000-£33,000) Hours: 3 days per week / 0.6 FTE Contract: Permanent Location: Predominantly remote, with regular travel to our London office as required Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer (COO) Application deadline: 20 October 2026 Start date: As soon as possible About the role Migrateful is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial management of our growing charity. With annual income of over £1 million and operations across London and Bristol, this is a senior role combining hands-on financial management with budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial insight. A significant proportion of both our income and cost base relates to our trading activities, primarily the delivery and sale of cookery classes, so we are looking for someone with experience of managing finances in an organisation with substantial trading activity, alongside charitable and fundraising income. You will work closely with our COO and CEO, external bookkeeper and accountant, Senior Management Team and Finance and Risk Sub-Committee to ensure that Migrateful has robust financial information, controls and processes to support good decision-making and long-term financial sustainability. You will take ownership of the finance function while working with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that budget holders understand their financial position and are supported to manage their budgets effectively.
