Supporting the Financial Controller in managing the full accounts function and overseeing all financial activities across the business, ensuring accurate reporting, sound financial management, and informed decision-making. Client Details A fast-growing local business based in North Wales Description Support the Financial Controller in overseeing the Accounts Department and overall financial operations.Manage a small team of three, including delegation, workload management, training, and technical guidance.Assist in preparing financial statements under UK GAAP and support year-end processes, including liaising with external auditors.Ensure accurate and timely monthly management accounts, debtor reporting, and weekly cashflow forecasts.Oversee effective cash management to maximise interest on surplus funds.Develop and maintain accounting systems, policies, and procedures to support the business''s growth.Provide ad-hoc support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team as required.
