Finance Manager

You will report to the Financial Controller responsible for overseeing the daily accounting processes tomaintain the ledgers. The position is focused on developing the Finance team and implementing systems to meet the evolving needs of the business as it grows, ensuring key targets and management deadlines are met in a dynamic working environmentClient DetailsThe organisation operates in the Business Services industry in the Medway towns area.Description This role will involve assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Finance Team and ensuring that the Finance Department runs smoothly.Prepare and review monthly management accounts to include departmental profit and loss statements and balance sheet.Review and completion of month end processes, in line with management timetable, including monthly accruals, prepayments, depreciation and all other month end adjustments as required.Ensure accuracy of financial reporting with review and reconciliation of all control accounts, including actioning necessary journal entries and nominal analysis.Provide high level supporting commentary on the financial performance, highlighting variance to budget and forecasts and support strategic decision making.Preparation of annual budgets and any re-forecasting as required.
