In so doing, ensuring adherence to administrative systems, procedures, and policies.Main Accountabilities:Lead a team of 5/6 that have primary responsibility for transacting all elements of the sales and purchase ledgersPurchase ledger – support the team to accurately process and match purchase invoices and credit notes for all suppliersEnsure all supplier accounts are kept up to date with regular reconciliationsEnsure regular communication with our supply base to resolve any disputesOversee month end payment runs ensuring timely payment allocations are madeSales ledger – support the team to accurately process sales invoices and credit notes for all clients in accordance with agreed schedules of ratesCredit Control – lead the credit control function working closely with our clients (we operate with 12 primary clients) to ensure timely settlements of accountsSupport completion of the monthly payroll runSupport the preparation of the Management accounts with journal entries and general reconciliations.Equals credit card (expenses) – to process receipts and reconcile the credit card account on SAGE. To top up all credit cards on a weekly basis.Bank reconciliation – to reconcile via SAGE our bank accounts.Produce weekly/monthly reports for management.Skills/qualifications:AAT QualifiedMinimum 2 years’ experience leading a teamExperience with Microsoft Office ExcelHigh level of professionalism, problem solving and communication skillsThis is a full time onsite permanent role offering
£40,000 - £50,000
