Finance Manager - maternity cover - lead

This Finance Manager role in the Surrey area is a maternity cover position. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting. Monitor cash flow and manage financial risk effectively. Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and systems. Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required. Lead and mentor junior members of the accounting and finance team. Profile A successful Finance Manager should have: Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA). Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis within a Group Accounting function Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
