We''re looking for an experienced and highly organised Finance Manager to join a specialist, technically focused organisation in the defence sector. This part-time role offers flexible working and the chance to work closely with the CEO supporting financial operations. Key Responsibilities:Maintaining the company accountsProducing monthly management accounts as required by the parent companyCompleting the end-of-year accounts and assisting auditorsRunning and managing payroll, pension payments, and NI contributionsMaintaining compliance with HMRC rules and regulationsManaging cash flow and VAT returnsManaging and paying employee expenses and authorised invoicesCoordinating with the Technical Director for Work in Progress (WIP) managementSetting and reporting yearly budgets in conjunction with the CEO and Technical DirectorAttending monthly financial meetings with UK and International Directors (via Teams)Participating in quarterly management and board meetings as requestedJob Requirements:Significant experience in financial managementStrong proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely financial recordsExcellent working knowledge of ExcelAbility to manage payroll and ensure regulatory complianceExperience in coordinating with various stakeholders for financial planningFlexible working approach and self-motivationMust be a UK national, as security clearance is requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits:Flexible working hours (20 hours a week)Opportunity ..... full job details .....
