Finance Manager

Marc Daniels are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a large, established organisation based in the Berkshire area. This is a permanent opportunity offering hybrid working and flexible start/finish times. This is a broad Finance Manager role combining financial reporting and control with FPandA, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering. The successful candidate will take significant ownership of month-end and technical accounting while also working closely with stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge performance and support planning and decision-making. The FPandA element of the position is expected to increase further over time, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their commercial finance exposure. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Oversee accounting across revenue, costs, inventory, provisions and the balance sheet Ensure appropriate application of accounting standards, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 Review journals, reconciliations and balance sheet substantiation, maintaining strong financial controls Partner with FPandA and wider business teams to provide financial analysis, insight and decision support Support the budgeting and forecasting process, working with stakeholders to develop robust and accurate plans Review budgets and forecasts, challenging assumptions and identifying risks and opportunities Analyse actual ..... full job details .....
