Finance Manager

Marc Daniels is recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a successful, award-winning software business based near Slough. The successful candidate will take ownership of the month-end reporting process, support commercial decision-making and lead a finance team to deliver accurate, timely and insightful financial information.The roleThe Finance Manager will own the end-to-end monthly close process and production of the management accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring strong financial controls, driving improvements across the finance function and acting as deputy to the Financial Controller when required.Key responsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end month-end close process and ensure the timely production of accurate management accounts.Lead the preparation and review of the monthly PandL, including detailed analysis of variances against budget, forecast and prior year.Present financial results, key movements and business performance to senior management.Use management tools to monitor deadlines, manage dependencies and resolve bottlenecks.Ensure balance sheet reconciliations, month-end schedules and supporting analysis are completed accurately and on time.Oversee weekly cash flow forecasting and communicate significant movements, risks and opportunities.Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide clear financial ..... full job details .....
