Finance Manager

Marc Daniels are looking to recruit a Finance Manager for an established, growing technology business in central Brighton The role You''ll own month-end, statutory accounts and tax, reporting to the Head of Finance. It''s a standalone role for now, with clear progression routes and good exposure to the leadership team. What you''ll be doing Owning the month-end close and producing accurate, timely monthly management accountsPreparing the year-end statutory accountsPreparing tax returns, including VATMaking sure the business stays on top of VAT and statutory complianceMaintaining the fixed and intangible asset registersRunning the annual audit and acting as the main contact for the external auditorsSupporting the Head of Finance with budgeting and forecastingManaging and forecasting cash flowReviewing finance processes and controls and driving improvementsWorking closely with the wider finance team and stakeholders across the business Desirables ACCA or ICAEW (ACA) qualifiedThree or more years post-qualification experienceStrong financial accounting and technical ability, with a solid grasp of financial controlsExperience owning month-end and preparing statutory accountsExposure to tax returns and auditConfident working autonomously in a standalone seatA process improvement mindsetAble to be in the Brighton office three days a week ..... full job details .....
