Finance Manager

Role: Finance ManagerLocation: Thirsk Salary: 40-50kAs Finance Manager, you will take ownership of all financial operations within the company, its subsidiaries and other businesses in the group owned by the Directors. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company''s growth.This is a hands-on role ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being involved in all aspects of business finance.Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager;- Manage all aspects of company accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and banking.- Produce monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports for senior management.- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control processes.- Monitor company performance against budgets and provide regular financial analysis and recommendations.- Liaise with external accountants, lenders, auditors, and HMRC regarding tax, VAT, and compliance matters.- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.- Support business decision-making through accurate and timely financial data.- Manage and mentor any finance or administrative support staff as required.- Assist with financial aspects of contracts, tenders, and business development opportunities.- Oversee the move from Sage to Xero for all businesses- Assist in ..... full job details .....
