Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a successful and purpose-led organisation based in Exeter on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant seeking a varied and hands-on management role where you will lead a small finance team and play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, compliance and financial control across the organisation. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee a small finance team and be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the finance function, whilst supporting the wider organisation with timely and accurate financial information. Finance Manager - The Role: Key responsibilities will include: Leading, mentoring and developing a small finance team. Managing the month-end close process. Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts. Producing monthly cost centre reporting and variance analysis. Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting activities. Ensuring compliance with VAT and other HMRC requirements. Coordinating the annual statutory audit process. Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts. Completion and submission of ONS surveys and other regulatory reporting requirements.
