Finance Manager

A growing financial services business based in Leeds City Centre is seeking a Finance Manager to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented finance professional to take ownership of core reporting processes while managing a small team and working closely with an experienced Financial Director. This is a hybrid role with up to two days WFH. The Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support the business, alongside overseeing day-to-day finance operations. Key responsibilities include:Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and commentaryFull responsibility for VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and complianceManaging, mentoring and developing a small finance teamSupporting budgeting and forecasting processesBalance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controlsWorking closely with the Finance Director to support business planning and decision-makingIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies within the finance functionThis role could suit a career move from industry or practice.
