Finance Manager

We''re recruiting a Finance Manager for our client in Huddersfield. This is a broad and varied role within an established, growing SME. You''ll take ownership of the finance function, working closely with senior management across the business. The role includes developing management information, improving reporting capabilities, and ensuring the finance function continues to support the wider business effectively. It''s a hands on position leading a small team. You''ll report to the business directors, with the additional resource of a fractional CFO supporting the business. Key Responsibilities:Full ownership of the month end process, delivering accurate and timely management accountsPreparation of management information, reporting and financial analysis to support business performanceOwnership of cash flow forecastingBusiness partnering with operational and senior managementWork to improve visibility of financial performance and profitabilityMaintain and enhance financial controls, reporting standards and governance processesSupport budgeting, forecasting and year-end activitiesProvide analysis and insight to support business decisionsLiaise with external accountants, auditors and banking partnersIdentify and implement improvements to finance processes, systems and reportingDrive efficiencies across finance and wider business operationsThe Ideal Candidate:Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar roleStrong management ..... full job details .....
