Finance Manager

Finance Manger Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting an experienced Finance Manager on behalf of our client. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, family-owned manufacturing and distribution business, taking full ownership of the accounts function and working closely with the Managing Director. This role would suit someone who has been an Assistant Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant wanting to take that next step. Key Responsibilities Managing the day-to-day running of the accounts department Purchase and sales ledger management Bank reconciliations, VAT returns and credit control Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning Year-end preparation and liaison with external accountants Stock accounting, product costing and margin analysis Maintaining and improving financial controls and procedures The ideal candidate: Strong hands-on accounting experience Experience preparing management accounts VAT and year-end accounting knowledge Advanced Excel and accounting software skills AAT qualified or above (ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified/part-qualified candidates encouraged to apply) Manufacturing, distribution or ERP system experience advantageous This role would suit a proactive, detail-focused finance professional who enjoys being involved in the numbers and making a real impact within a growing business. ..... full job details .....
