Reporting directly to the CEO, you''ll manage a small finance team and play a key role in supporting the wider business through accurate financial management, reporting and continuous process improvement. The RoleLeading and developing the finance team to ensure high levels of performanceManaging the sales and purchase ledger functionsProducing VAT returns and supporting overseas tax submissionsPreparing payroll information, including commission calculations and pension paymentsManaging CIS returns, subcontractor payments and HMRC submissionsBank and credit card reconciliationsCash flow management and weekly reportingProducing monthly management information and preparing year-end accounts to trial balanceLiaising with external accountants, insurers and other third partiesSupporting Directors with finance-related HR administrationIdentifying opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency About YouPrevious experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Finance professionalExperience managing or mentoring a small finance teamStrong knowledge of Sage 50, Xero or similar accounting softwareAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience preparing VAT returns, payroll information and management accountsExcellent organisational skills ..... full job details .....
