This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive finance professional to step into a key leadership role and make an immediate impact.The RoleReporting directly to the Financial Director, you will take responsibility for overseeing day-to-day finance operations while ensuring robust financial control and reporting. You will also play a key role in supporting ongoing finance projects and driving improvements within the function.The assignment is expected to last 3-6 months, with the potential for extension depending on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of 4 finance staff, providing guidance, support, and performance oversightTake ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveryOversee budgetary control, monitoring performance against budgets and providing insightful variance analysisPrepare and maintain cashflow forecasts, ensuring the business maintains a strong liquidity positionConduct detailed payment and expenditure analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for cost controlWork closely with the Financial Director to support strategic decision-makingAssist with ongoing finance projects, including process improvements and ..... full job details .....
