Our client operates in the healthcare sector, and is committed to delivering high-quality solutions and value to its clients.Your new roleAs Finance Manager, you will be number one in finance locally and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This is a hands-on role covering a range of BAU tasks whilst managing a team.Key duties:Production of management accounting information including group reportingProduction of statutory accounts and liaison with auditorsCalculation and preparation of journals, accruals and prepaymentsBalance sheet reconciliationsQuarterly VAT returnsMaintain fixed asset registerOversight of all ledger functionsPayroll supportLine management of the finance team (7 staff)Assist the CEO and SMT on commercial mattersWhat you''ll need to succeedQualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBEProven experience of operating as a Finance Manager (or similar) in a group-based environmentPossess a hands-on nature with a ''sleeves rolled up'' approachComfortable operating in a fast-paced and changing businessTrack record of leading and developing finance teamsStrong Excel ..... full job details .....
