Finance Manager

Your new company A standout, market-leading business in Bath is seeking a high-calibre Finance Manager to join the team.Your new role Working as part of a small team, you will have responsibility for all company financial matters and will be reporting directly to the Group Finance Director and Board of Directors.Key responsibilities will include:Preparation of detailed monthly management accounts by location and for the company as a wholePreparation of accounts year-end pack for the company''s external accountantsProviding a month-end Management Information pack including Profit and Loss variance Analysis, KPIs, sales base analysis cost analysisPreparation of annual budgets and forecastsCash management and forecastingOverall responsibility for payroll (approximately 50 staff)Preparation of VAT returns and filingWorking with and supporting the senior management teamSupervising and supporting an accounts assistantWhat you''ll need to succeed This is a hands-on role; you will be enthusiastic and willing to take ownership of the finance function and lead from the front with a can-do attitude. The successful candidate will:Be used to working in a small team environment within the SME sector.Proven experience in an accounting role, with excellent attention to detail, and have the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.Experience of Xero, Sage and Microsoft packages and Payroll would be advantageous.Be an excellent communicator.What you''ll get in return Flexible working ..... full job details .....
