Your new company Your new role Working closely with Headteachers and Directors, you will play a key role in ensuring schools are well-supported through robust budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and compliance. As part of the central finance team, you will help ensure resources are used effectively to deliver the best possible outcomes for pupils.Produce monthly management accounts and provide insightful analysisPrepare and manage budgets, forecasts and financial plansFinance business partnering for schools within your designated hubSupport schools to monitor performance, manage risks and deliver correct actionsMonitor payroll, income, grants and debt management processesEnsure compliance with financial regulations, controls and audit requirementsWhat you''ll need to succeed Qualified or part-qualified Accountant - QBEs will also be consideredExperienced finance professional with strong management accounting, budgeting and business partnering skillsConfident working with stakeholders and possess the ability to communicate financial information clearly and constructivelyEducation/public sector background (advantageous but not essential)Proficient with MS Office and finance systems (Sage 200 highly desirable)What you''ll get in return In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to 40,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification) plus excellent benefits.
