Finance Manager Your new company This very successful SME group of companies are seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join the team and take ownership of the financial operations across the group of companies. This is a hands-on role, managing one team member responsible for transactional accounting and preparation of management accounts.Your new role You will oversee the full finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management across the main company and four subsidiary entities.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accountsYear-end accounting and liaison with external auditorsPayroll processing for approximately 35 staff, including CISConsolidation of group accountsMaintenance of the fixed asset registerCompilation of financial statements for the main company and four subsidiariesOversight and review of work produced by the finance assistantUse of bespoke accounting systems and Sage PayrollWhat you''ll need to succeed Requirements:Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager or Financial Controller roleStrong understanding of payroll, CIS, and group accountingProficient in Sage Payroll and comfortable with bespoke systemsExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entitiesStrong communication and leadership skillsWhat you''ll get in return Opportunity to lead and shape the finance ..... full job details .....
