Finance Manager Location: Leicestershire Salary: 70,000 - 85,000Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a successful and growing house builder based in Leicestershire. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a key role with responsibility for leading day-to-day finance operations, delivering accurate and timely management information, and supporting commercial and operational decision-making across the business.This position will suit a hands-on, commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with teams on-site to drive performance, efficiency, and profitability.Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and robust financial controls. Prepare monthly management accounts, board packs, and key financial analysis to support senior leadership. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management processes. Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight, support project appraisals, and challenge assumptions. Maintain balance sheet integrity and ensure accurate reporting of site and project performance. Drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting systems. Manage and develop a small finance team, promoting high standards and continuous improvement.
