Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join an established and growing business. Working closely with the Directors, you will take ownership of the finance function, providing accurate financial information, commercial insight and strong financial control. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an SME environment, where you can make a genuine impact, improve the way things are done and have direct exposure to the people running the business. The Role Key responsibilities will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting to the DirectorsBudgeting, forecasting and cash-flow managementProviding commercial and financial analysis to support business decisionsMonitoring performance and identifying key trends, risks and opportunitiesManaging balance-sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controlsReviewing and improving finance processes, procedures and reportingTaking ownership of credit control and the debtor ledgerVAT returns and CIS reportingPayroll oversightOversight of purchase and sales ledgersSupporting the Directors with wider financial and commercial projects as the business continues to growThe Candidate We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager, Management Accountant or Financial Controller who is commercially minded but equally comfortable getting involved in the detail.
