Prepare management accounts and job costing analysis. Process monthly Nominal ledger journals - prepayments, accruals etc. Perform payroll for 2 weekly and 2 monthly sets of employees and submit information and payments to HMRC. Submit pension returns weekly and monthly to the pension providers. Produce and submit VAT returns. Process and authorise payments and produce a cashbook with receipts and payments. Posting receipts and payments into the accounts system. Prepare a cash projection daily to manage funds. Perform bank reconciliations. Manage credit control. Set up Subcontractors and verify with HMRC Produce monthly CIS returns and send out statements and submit to HMRC. Prepare PAYE submission and pay HMRC monthly. Prepare CITB levy return. Administer employee benefit schemes Private medical and WPA Post purchase and subcontractor invoices into the accounts system and liaise with project managers regarding deliveries and orders. Liaise with contracts commercial team and process Sales invoices. Prepare fixed asset schedules. Prepare schedules and data for the yearly audit of the accounts. Statutory reporting. Keep mileage records updated and compute the VAT reclaim. Administer the company credit card. Filing and archiving. Setting up new contracts in the accounts system.
