Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance are working with our client, a well-established organisation in Belfast, to recruit a Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take on a senior finance leadership role within a complex and rewarding environment. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial management, supporting strategic decision-making, strengthening financial controls, and driving process improvements across the organisation. The successful candidate will lead operational finance activities while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Your new role Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance functionManage and support a small finance team, ensuring effective service deliveryOversee payroll processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulationsPrepare monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial reportsSupport annual financial statements, year-end processes and external auditsMonitor cash flow and assist with treasury management activitiesReview and enhance financial systems, processes and internal controlsSupport digital transformation and finance system improvementsDevelop meaningful financial reporting and KPI information for stakeholdersPrepare statutory and regulatory returnsProvide financial advice and guidance to senior management and ..... full job details .....
