Finance Manager, FP&A - Logistics | Nottingham | -60,000 - -65,000 plus bonus & great benefits

Zachary Daniels is partnering with a large, complex and well-established consumer-facing organisation to recruit a Finance Manager, FP&A - Logistics.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a high-performing finance function in a broad FP&A role, supporting a significant and operationally critical area of the business.

You''ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Logistics, Operations and Finance, providing the insight, challenge and analysis required to understand performance and support better commercial decision-making.

The Role

You''ll take a leading role across budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, alongside ownership of weekly and monthly performance reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Owning weekly financial reporting and supporting regular performance reviews.
• Producing monthly management reporting, variance analysis and KPIs.
• Providing financial analysis and modelling for business cases, investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Partnering senior operational and finance stakeholders, providing insight and constructive challenge.
• Identifying and communicating financial risks and opportunities.
• Supporting the month-end process alongside the Accounting team.
• Improving financial models, forecasting tools and reporting through automation and simplification.
• Supporting the development of a Finance Analyst and contributing to the wider finance team.

The Candidate

• We''re looking for someone with strong experience across FP&A (ideally 5+ years), commercial finance or finance management who is comfortable operating within a large and fast-paced organisation.
• You''ll need strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills, alongside the ability to turn complex financial information into clear commercial insight.
• You''ll also be confident working with senior stakeholders and capable of providing appropriate challenge rather than simply reporting the numbers.
• A CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous. Experience within logistics, supply chain, retail, consumer or another operationally complex environment would also be beneficial.
