Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the manufacturing sector. They are seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to partner with operations and senior leadership, driving financial performance across a complex production environment.
 
The Role  
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you''ll have overall responsibility for the site''s financial management, reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis. This is a hands-on role requiring strong financial control alongside the ability to provide meaningful insight to operational stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the month-end close process and production of management accounts
• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Delivering board packs, KPI reporting and performance analysis
• Managing product costing and manufacturing finance reporting
• Analysing margins, profitability and operational performance
• Overseeing inventory control, stock reconciliations and working capital management
• Supporting capital expenditure projects and engineering spend governance
• Producing scenario analysis and business cases to support strategic decisions
• Driving financial controls and ensuring compliance with group policies
• Working closely with operational, commercial and engineering teams to improve profitability and performance

About You  
We''re looking for a qualified finance professional who enjoys being close to operations and can translate financial data into actionable business insight.
 
You''ll ideally have:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
• Experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, recycling or a similar operational environment
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience
• A solid understanding of product costing and stock control
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities
• A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving
