Finance Manager

A fast-growing and reputable early-years childcare and education provider is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the Company s financial health. The Finance Manager will have a solid understanding of financial management and accounting, be proficient in cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and have strong analytical and decision-making abilities. In addition, the Finance Manager will be able to take a hands-on approach in producing, maintaining and updating any relevant financial information. Flexible working provided, but must be based in the Essex area. Having successfully achieved the Investors in People standard at their main site, our client is now rolling this approach out across the entire organisation. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate monthly management accounts for each nursery setting and the property portfolio by the agreed reporting deadline Maintain and update rolling cash flow forecasts and highlight any potential issues to the CEO Ensure payroll, pension submissions and HMRC reporting are completed accurately and on time Assist the CEO and Operations Manager with the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets Maintain accurate financial records and ensure robust financial controls are followed across the group Prepare year-end schedules and ..... full job details .....
