Finance Manager for Architecture Practice

Overview
A design-led architecture practice is seeking a qualified Finance Manager (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) to oversee day-to-day financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This is a pivotal role working closely with senior leadership to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and performance across the business.Responsibilities
Prepare bookkeeping and accountancy systems for annual accounts and tax returnsSubmit quarterly VAT returns and monitor secondary VAT requirementsCollaborate on annual budgets, revenue targets, and financial KPIsProduce monthly and quarterly management accounts and financial reportsConduct variance analysis, cash flow projections, and credit risk reviewsSupport project leads with budget tracking and profitability modellingMaintain accurate ledgers, reconcile accounts, and issue monthly invoicesReview payroll and pension reports, manage finance agreements and expensesOrganise payment runs and liaise with banks within authorisation limitsContribute to financial strategy, internal audits, and benchmarking reportsSkills and Experience
