Finance Manager / Finance Business Partner

Do you thrive in a complex, regulated environment where your insights drive performance and shape long-term investment decisions?We are seeking a finance manager/finance business partner to lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making across a major capital programme. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing robust financial insight and driving commercial excellence.This is a temporary position so do require someone immediately available. The contract will be on an initial 12-week contract but is expected to last 6 months as a minimum. This role can pay from £40-£45 on a PAYE basis.Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to director and senior leadership teams, challenging assumptions and promoting financial discipline.Lead a team of finance professionals across business partnering, project accounting, and financial controls.Deliver accurate forecasts, budgets, and actuals, ensuring financial integrity and identifying opportunities for improvement.Provide high-quality financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance commentary.Drive continuous improvement in capex forecasting and planning processes.Ensure compliance with financial controls, reporting standards, and audit readiness.Champion a culture of commercial awareness and insight-driven decision-making.What We’re Looking For

Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).Proven experience in capex finance business partnering and capital investment environments.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI).Ability to influence across all levels of the business and manage complexity.Experience working in regulated or large infrastructure-based ..... full job details .....
