Finance Manager - Ecommerce

Finance Manager £40,000 - £45,000 Heywood Are you an experienced Finance Manager who enjoys being hands-on and having real ownership of the finance function? We''re working with a rapidly growing e-commerce business in Heywood to recruit a standalone Finance Manager to manage the full finance operation and support the business as it continues to scale. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the directors, external suppliers, accountants and finance contacts within the company''s investment partner. The role You''ll take responsibility for: Managing purchase and sales ledger, invoicing, payments, banking and reconciliations. Preparing monthly management accounts, financial reporting, budgets and forecasts. Managing cash flow, credit control, supplier payments and financial controls. Overseeing VAT, HMRC, payroll, pensions and year-end processes, working with external accountants where required. Reconciling e-commerce sales, payment platforms, refunds and fees, alongside stock and inventory accounting. Providing financial insight and analysis to support commercial decisions. Liaising with external finance providers, suppliers, accountants and the investment partner''s finance team. Improving processes and systems to make the finance function more efficient and scalable. Exploring AI, automation and other technology to reduce manual administration and streamline routine tasks.
