FINANCE MANAGER (CAPITAL) LOCAL GOVERNMENT HYBRID 1- TO 3 DAY ON SITE LOCATION MATLOCK DERBYSHIRE DE4 3AG The role would be to work with our existing Capital team and alongside the Finance Manager (Capital) as additional resource to support them for a period of c 9 months whilst the function transitions into the new structure to be introduced under FIP. Working arrangement is hybrid with a min of 1 day per week in the office at County Hall, Matlock. (Please note this may increase to 3 days per week so candidate availability for that potential is required) The role will work hand in hand with the current Finance Manager (Capital) to achieve the key objectives below: Assist with preparing and reconciling the capital programme so that we are ready to implement a new capital system Reconciliation of funding position ready for the above Working as part of the team on the year end closedown and capital processes Implementing new capital monitoring reporting and processes It is important that the candidate is a qualified accountant with significant relevant experience in local government capital accounting. ..... full job details .....
