Job Title: Finance ManagerLocation: Hull, office basedSalary: Up to £45,000 DOE Consortium Professional Recruitment are recruiting for a hands-on Finance Manager to join a growing SME group entering its next stage of development. This is a key hire, with the successful person taking ownership of day-to-day finance across two businesses operating with different commercial models. The focus is clear: stronger financial control, better visibility and more confident decision-making. You will work close to the detail while providing the insight needed to identify risks early and support sustainable growth. The Opportunity: As a Finance Manager you''ll play a key role in: Owning weekly cash position reporting and maintaining forward-looking cash forecasts. Improving the speed, accuracy and quality of month-end reporting and management accounts. Strengthening credit control, securing payment dates and reducing overdue balances while maintaining positive customer relationships. Improving purchase ledger controls, invoice approvals, reconciliations and visibility of committed costs. Supporting finance activity across two businesses, adapting processes to suit different operating models and working closely with external accountants. Your work will directly contribute to stronger financial control, earlier identification of risk and clearer commercial decision-making across the group.
