About Ornua and the roleAre you a motivated and dynamic qualified accountant looking for the challenge of taking a mission driven organisation to its next level of success? Ornua is actively seeking a Finance Manager to join our wider finance team as we continue our growth trajectory. As our next Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective financial management and reporting for the Own Label business segment, ensuring gold standard business partnering is provided to continually add value both internally and externally.

Role value and responsibilitiesThe Finance Manager is responsible for:
Effective leadership of the retailer-focused Finance Business Partnering team, with an emphasis on growth and development
Driving the overall effectiveness of the wider Commercial Finance Team and contributing towards a strong team culture
Overseeing and consolidating the financials for the own label segment, managing partner customer Open Book agreements, highlighting key business risks, driving internal understanding and informed decision making
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring excellence, consistency and continuous improvement in financial insight
Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes and owning the accuracy of the own label position
Ensuring relevant financial controls to drive accuracy across teams
Delivering insightful financial reporting, continuously reviewing and updating it to meet business needs
Providing robust overhead management support for Commercial and Category functions
Providing financial support on key business projects as required
What you bring to the role
Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with Post Qualified Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel/PowerPoint
Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to partner non-finance functions
Ability to create and deliver effective presentations at all levels
Commercially astute with strong analytical skills and knowledge in FMCG or food industry
Experience in business intelligence systems
Previous people leader experience
