Finance Manager

We are working with a growing and entrepreneurial business based in Andover, Hampshire, who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function across a developing group of companies.This is a hands-on role covering purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations, VAT, payments, intercompany accounting and month-end processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Directors and external accountants, playing an important role in establishing and developing the finance processes as the business continues to grow.This would suit an experienced finance professional who wants genuine ownership rather than being responsible for one small part of a larger finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the purchase ledger across multiple companies, including overseas suppliers and multi-currency transactionsManage the sales ledger, including customer invoicing and credit controlProcess payment runs and deal with supplier queriesComplete daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currenciesReconcile sales from multiple channels, including ecommerce platforms and retail operationsManage card show floats and cash handlingRaise and reconcile intercompany invoicesProcess monthly journals for shared premises and service rechargesMaintain accurate separation of financial information across the group companiesPrepare VAT returns across the groupMaintain records relating to the VAT margin ..... full job details .....
