Finance Manager

Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations for a fantastic, growing business in Exeter. Reporting to the Finance Director, you''ll deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain strong controls, and provide insight to support decision-making.Key responsibilitiesProduce monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgetsMaintain balance sheet reconciliations and manage month-end closeLead year-end accounts preparation and audit processOversee VAT, PAYE, and tax complianceManage cash-flow, sales ledger, and credit controlMaintain financial controls and ensure complianceOversee fixed assets, loans, and finance agreementsLine manage a small teamDrive process improvements and support ad hoc reportingAbout YouACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifiedStrong experience in management accounts, reporting, and auditProficient in Sage (or similar) and advanced ExcelHands-on, detail-focused, and commercially awareExperience managing or mentoring a small teamThis is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business with a great culture.
